We are working on a lead engineer role in a pharmaceutical manufacturer near cambridge. This role will head up a small engineering team, managing contractors, PPMs and breakdowns. You will be part of the senior leadership team so will be involved in the development of the site, making group decisions on direction and more.

This business is looking for this role due to a retirement after 20+ years employment, showing how they value their staff and invest in their development.

This role is perfectly suited to someone looking to step up into a management role or move onto a days shift pattern after being in an engineering shift supervisor or engineering shift manager position

Requirements :

  • 5+ years in multi-skilled engineering
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing
  • A level 3 or higher in an engineering discipline - chemical or engineering preferred
  • A good attitude towards developing a team
