Position: Lead IT Project ManagerLocation: Milton Keynes/ Hybrid WorkingSalary: £80-£90k basic plus benefit package (inc. bonus).POSITION SUMMARYCreative ITC is actively seeking a seasoned Lead Project Manager to enhance our PMO team. This crucial role involves supervisory responsibility for a team of three Senior Project Managers. It requires effective collaboration across multiple departments—including Concierge, Sales, Pre-Sales and Technical Delivery to ensure exceptional project management services and project excellence.As the Lead Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in implementing new initiatives within the PMO. Your responsibilities will include overseeing multiple projects and introducing innovative methodologies, tools, and best practices. The position involves evaluating current processes, driving efficiency improvements, and integrating advanced project management technologies. These efforts aim to enhance project delivery and promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.By driving these changes, the Lead Project Manager will help maintain Creative ITC’s position within the industry, adapting to changing demands and enhancing client value through innovative project management strategies.This role is designed for a visionary team leader with deep project management expertise and a demonstrated ability to steer the team towards achieving organisational objectives while maintaining high standards of excellence in a complex, evolving landscape.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCERequired Qualifications and ExperienceDemonstrable extensive experience in leading IT Project Management initiatives.A strong track record in managing sizable projects with international scope.Successful delivery of large-scale projects across various countries, with budgets exceeding £500K.In-depth knowledge and project management experience in infrastructure, data centres, storage, and network-related technologies.Exceptional client engagement skills with a proven ability to effectively communicate and present to key stakeholders and clients at various levels.A pragmatic and methodical approach to problem-solving, with a proven capability to adapt to and navigate complex project scenarios.Certified Prince2 Practitioner.Desirable QualificationsCertifications in Project Management Professional (PMP) or Managing Successful Programmes (MSP).Certification in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL)KEY JOB ELEMENTS - Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesAs the Lead Project Manager at Creative-ITC, you will spearhead a team responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of projects, delivering both on-premises and as-a-service solutions globally. Your leadership will ensure that the team achieves excellence in project execution through robust client expectations management and comprehensive project oversight.Key Responsibilities:Governance and Structure: Maintain rigorous governance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all projects adhere to a structured framework.Client Management: Actively manage client relationships to ensure transparency and satisfaction with project progress and outcomes.Collaborative Planning: Work closely with cross-functional teams to fully understand client objectives from short to long-term, ensuring alignment with the proposed solutions.Project Planning and Risk Management: Define and oversee project scope, budget, schedules, and resources. Proactively identify risks, providing strategic mitigation solutions to prevent disruptions.Resource and Budget Management: Oversee the alignment of technical resources and manage delivery schedules. Maintain control over project budgets to ensure profitability and timely delivery.Project Tracking and Reporting: Ensure accurate project tracking, keeping all initiatives within scope.
