Lead Mechanical Fitter

Our client based in Doncaster is looking for a experienced Lead Engineer. You will have the overall responsibility for leading the maintenance team to maintain and repair all equipment.�

This role is working Monday - Friday Days with �50,000 - �60,000 per year�

The Role:

• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of production process, equipment and technology


• Technical support and troubleshooting of production issues�


• Manage the design, specification and ordering of equipment, liaising with technical staff


• Lead�ongoing and new projects


• Maintain and build working relationships


• Monitor the status of projects to the management team


• �Continuous improvements of manufacturing processes


• Provide hands on engineering support to the maintenance team

The Candidate:

• A relevant engineering qualification (HNC, HND Degree)��


• Experience within medium to heavy manufacturing in a Manufacturing environment


• Experience in a lead / supervisory role


• Understand Health and Safety procedures


• Strong IT skills, working knowledge of MS Office suite


• Logical thinker


• Organisational skills�(priortise and work under pressure)
