Lead Murex Business Analyst | Up to £110,000 | London | Permanent Industry: Capital MarketsLocation: London – Hybrid (3 days in office)Job type: Full-timeSalary: £80,000 – 110,000Cititec Talent is working with an investment bank who are looking for a Lead Murex Business Analyst to join the business. This role involves full lifecycle implementation, including post-trade workflows, with Murex as the core system for various commodities.What you’ll be doing:Recommend booking models and product onboarding in Murex.Conduct analysis, problem-solving, and escalation related to Murex.Collaborate with GMC Quants, MOA, MOE, and other teams on Murex configurations.Produce booking model documents and DOI’s.Maintain a Confluence page for design decisions.Provide regular progress updates to management.Propose and lead initiatives for new business activities and products.Identify and implement efficiency improvements and operational risk reductions.Manage and assist in backlog refinement and prioritisation with the Business Manager.Requirements:Extensive experience with Murex as a BA/Dev.Front-to-back Murex implementation experience.Solid understanding of derivatives and various listed and OTC instruments.Previous experience onboarding commodities products in Murex, particularly in Energy, Base and Precious metals, and Carbon.Proficiency in Murex booking models and new product setup.Deep understanding of Murex architecture, curve setup, and static data setup.Knowledge of PnL, risk, and valuations in Murex.Familiarity with Murex-specific configurations like post-trade workflows, msl/pre-trade, pricing templates, and FO instrument setup.Ability to work with senior stakeholders in Front Office and control functions.Desirable: Experience with MX Datamart, MXML exchange, Murex commodity curves, profiles setup, simulation views, PLVAR, and FLEX API.Candidates without hands-on Murex experience will not be considered for this role.To apply or find out more about this role, please message me on LinkedIn
