Lead Pharmacist (Oncology, Haematology & Aseptic)
Location: Central London
Salary: £75,000 Per Annum + outstanding benefits
MediTalent are delighted to be recruiting for a Lead Pharmacist in Central London! We are looking for someone who excels with the field of oncology services and strives on providing best practice.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the pharmacy service at Guy's Cancer Centre, overseeing dispensary operations, aseptic production, and inpatient/outpatient services for oncology, haematology, and surgical specialties.
- Provide clinical pharmacy support in the chemotherapy day unit and Haematology/Oncology Ward, including care for transplant and complex haematology patients.
- Collaborate with Consultants, Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNSs), and Resident Doctors to ensure safe prescribing and governance of Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT).
- Contribute to departmental strategy, ensuring high standards in medicines management, governance, and operational efficiency.
- Drive service development and innovation, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Line manage and support pharmacy team members, promoting professional growth and performance.
- Engage in quality improvement projects and represent pharmacy services within the hospital and externally.
What You'll Need:
- Must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Advanced qualification in clinical pharmacy (postgraduate diploma or master's degree preferred)
- In-depth expertise in oncology, aseptic production, and haematology (essential)
- Significant hands-on experience in these areas
- Previous experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting
- Demonstrated leadership and management experience required
