The position of Lead Planner will be responsible for:
- Oversee the procurement and supply chain operations
- Implement effective plans to optimise efficiency and productivity
- Liaise with various departments to ensure smooth operations
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
- Monitor and report on supply chain performance
- Identify opportunities for process improvements
- Lead and mentor a team of planners
Profile
A successful Lead Planner should have:
- A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field
- Proven experience in an FMCG procurement and supply chain environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities
- Thorough understanding of supply chain processes and regulations
- Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience of systems implementations would be highly beneficial
