Lead Project Accountant

DK Recruitment are thrilled to be partnering with a Plymouth based client in their search for a Qualified Senior Project Accountant. This role plays a crucial part within both the finance function and wider operational team within specific projects. About the Role:�

• Provide accurate and timely financial information and advice to internal stakeholders


• Enable effective financial control to maximise value for money, cashflow, and profitability.


• Support project teams with key financial insights and data integrity.


• Collaborate with various departments to enhance financial management and reporting.


• Produce and analyse accounts in line with the monthly timetable.


• Prepare management packs in line with reporting deadlines.�

Essential Experience and Qualifications:

• CIMA/ACCA/ACA fully qualified with transferable experience


• Good interpersonal skills and effective communication at all levels.


• Experience working with non-finance managers and handling complex financial data.


• Advantageous to have contracts experience and knowledge of revenue recognition.


• Excellent working knowledge of Excel.
