Job Tittle - Lead Salesforce DeveloperLocation - Multiple Working pattern - Hybrid*Permanent Position**No sponsorship will be provided!*Lead the technical development of the Salesforce ecosystem from design through to implementation, including coding, configuration, maintenance, installation, testing, and debugging, delivering to timelines and producing supporting technical documentation in line with best-practice and according to University processes. Contribute to application standards and procedures including security and GDPR guidelines.Act as technical owner of Client’s Salesforce ecosystem providing expertise and industry-standard best-practice to mentor and help develop Junior Developers and AdministratorEnsure everything produced by the Salesforce development team is of good quality by performing code, design and test reviews and delivering feedback in a constructive and supportive manner. This will include reviewing the work of third-party contractors, peers and more junior staff to to reduce defects and incidents in the production environment.Work with the Salesforce Team Lead to help identify and evidence opportunities to utilise Salesforce Education Cloud capabilities driving efficiency and automation. Work with the wider team to evaluate requirements, advise on alternatives, and the implications of new or revised processes.Support the delivery of Client’s product roadmap by acting as technical expert to evaluate the feasibility of new opportunities and translating business requirements into technical solutions with associated delivery estimates.Experience - Essential Significant experience working as a Salesforce Lead DeveloperExperience of development on Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience/Community Cloud including configuration and automationExperience of developing using version/source control, continuous integration tools, and DevOps principles.Strong experience and understanding of Salesforce APIs, integration patterns and of writing custom web services.Experience with DevOps tools such as JIRA and GitHub
