Lead Structural Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Lead Chartered Structural Engineer to join our customer as a full time employee.They are looking to hire a Manager for their Structural Engineering Wireless team. The successful candidate will join an established team working on exciting projects for top-tier clients in Ireland and the UK. This role is pivotal to the technical analysis and design of network infrastructure, as well as the maintenance and development of other workstreams.This person will be the person responsible for final approval of programme delivery for client projects and therefore telecoms experience and full chartership is a mandatory requirement for the role. Unfortunately candidates who are not chartered structural engineers cannot be considered for this role.The role can be fully remote based. Key Benefits:Join a seasoned structural team.Enjoy a dynamic work environment with a strong work-life balance.Be part of a CPD-accredited company that values and nurtures your professional growth.Excellent opportunities for career advancement.Role and ResponsibilitiesConduct detailed structural analysis of steel and concrete structures.Prioritize Health and Safety in all design and development activities.Manage timely delivery of project tasks.Ensure the quality of deliverables.Provide cost-efficient solutions.Collaborate closely with project managers.Perform detailed structural surveys and compile reports.Maintain ongoing communication with the Design Department.Address queries as they arise.Act as a client representative.Prepare professional engineering reports.Review project scopes to determine structural deliverables.Plan and manage resources for incoming workstreams.Attend meetings with clients and contractors.Implement value engineering solutions.Location: Remote - UK basedExperience and Qualifications:At least 5 years of relevant post-graduate experience in the Telecoms industry.Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering with a structural focus.Chartered Engineer status, member of IE (Institute Engineering) or other professional body.Design consultancy experience in Telecoms, including towers and masts.Proficient in the analysis and design of steel, concrete, masonry, and timber structures per Eurocodes and relevant national standards and regulations.Ability to work autonomously and in a multidisciplinary environment.Self-motivated with a proactive approach to issue resolution and coordination of junior staff.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make evidence-based recommendations.Excellent IT skills, including proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, AutoCAD, and structural analysis tools such as MasterSeries, MStower, or STAAD.Knowledge of climbing or a willingness to learn is advantageous but not required.Full, clean driving license.Excellent written and spoken English skills.To apply please follow links provided.
