Lead System Engineer

Lead Systems Engineer The Lead Systems Engineer will work in a small team that supports both the projects team and maintenance team delivering works across London Underground and Network Rail systems. Key Requirements: Experience of designing, building, testing, and maintaining Windows Server architectures Worked with or built virtualization instances, preferably VMware Experience with deploying cybersecurity systems and processes Experience with maintaining or building Microsoft SQL databases (desirable) Qualifications: Microsoft Server Certification including Servers and/or SQL and Cisco CCNA (desirable) What you'll do: The role will be to lead a team of IT infrastructure-focused systems engineers Support the maintenance and upgrade of IT infrastructure including Windows servers, SQL databases, and VMware Acting as the lead engineer to provide technical support for the maintenance and project delivery teams The work will be across our internal remote systems and supporting our customer systems Provide a technical interface to the client Who you are: You will be an effective communicator (both written and verbal) with proven experience within a networks or Server infrastructure environment and communicate effectively and be able to communicate positively with customers and colleagues in a challenging environment.
