Learning and Development Officer

Belmont Recruitment are recruiting for a Learning and Development Officer to work with Birmingham Childrens Trust. This is a 3-6 month contract with the view to extend, working 37 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate understanding of workforce development within an organisation, including the inter-relationship of workforce development and business development


• Excellent presentation skills including adapting delivery style to meet the needs of the target group to ensure objectives are met


• Ability to effectively plan and manage a diverse workload to ensure that professional standards are consistently met.�


• Ability to develop and maintain a range of relationships/partnerships that support collaborative working and evidence mutual respect, trust and confidence, including dealing with people from a wide range of backgrounds.�


• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment on own initiative, prioritise and plan own workload to meet deadlines and work to targets and deliverables within agreed timescales.


• Ability to work in complex team/matrix arrangements, motivating colleagues, mediating disputes and creating positive solutions.


• Ability to have a pro-active and solution focussed approach to all tasks to ensure business objectives are met.


• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, adopting style to meet the varying needs of audience concerned.


• Ability to understand and interpret written reports and policy documents. To analyse and interpret complex information and to reach balanced judgements and recommendations.


• IT /administrative skills in order to work with systems to collect, create and collate information and resource,


• An ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence using the English Language as required by Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016

Location: Birmingham, B6 4DU.

Hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience.
