Job Description:
Are you an experienced social worker with strong leadership skills and a passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities?
In this role, you will oversee team operations, manage complex cases, and ensure the effective delivery of specialized services.
Responsibilities:
Leading and managing the Learning Disabilities Team, providing supervision, guidance, and support to team members.
Conducting and overseeing comprehensive assessments and care plans to meet the unique needs and goals of individuals with learning disabilities.
Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, external agencies, and community organizations to coordinate and enhance care.
Monitoring team performance, implementing improvements, and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and outcomes in line with legal and professional standards.
Qualifications:
Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
Proven experience in a social work role, with significant experience in a leadership or management position.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to social care and safeguarding.
