Learning Manager/Cover Supervisor (Humanities and Maths)

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Manager/Cover Supervisor to work across Humanities and Maths in a secondary setting. This is a full-time position during term time only, initially offered on a temporary basis.

You will primarily be covering for teachers when off timetable, delivering high-quality lessons, and supporting student's learning across a variety of subjects. Additionally, you will provide valuable administrative support to both the Humanities and Maths faculties.

Requirements:

• QTS or PGCE (essential) - we welcome applications from strong Cover Supervisors who may not be subject specialists.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
• Previous experience working in a school setting is desirable.
• Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide cover for teaching staff in Humanities, Maths, and other subjects as needed.
• Deliver engaging lessons to ensure students remain on task and productive during staff absences.
• Offer administrative support, including lesson preparation, classroom management, and supporting the smooth running of both faculties.
• Support the learning environment by maintaining order and structure in the classroom.
• Be adaptable and willing to provide cover in subjects outside of Humanities and Maths if required.
