Southern Education Recruitment is currently working alongside an SEN school based in the Sittingbourne. The school is a small provision that provides education to secondary aged pupils with SEMH (social, emotional, mental health) and those pupils struggling in a mainstream education setting. Now based across three sites within the Medway area, the school are currently looking for Learning Mentors/ Teaching Assistants�to support in�their Tenyham School site.
The school are looking for someone highly motivated, ideally with an SEN background (although this is not essential) who can help encourage and support young people. The school supports not just with the academic but also the social development of young people in their care, many of whom struggle with low confidence and self-esteem or engaging in social situations.
Position Details:
This position is due to start asap. Initially this will be on a long-term contract basis with the opportunity to apply for a permanent position at a later date.
