Learning & Organisational Development Practitioner

This is a new role to within our Learning & Development department to build upon our existing Leadership Development Programme. This will be a remote role with travel when required, and comes with an annual salary of between £45,000 - £55,000.

In this new role, reporting to the Head of Learning and Development, you'll shape and deliver leadership programmes and support organisational development initiatives that reflect our values. You'll bring our culture to life, upskilling current and future leaders, and help make healthcare better through our people.
Your focus will be on improving organisational performance by designing and implementing development programmes that drive lasting behavioural change, compassion, and accountability in our leaders. Acting as a consultant to stakeholders, you'll contribute to the delivery of our People Strategy and strategic objectives, while embodying our leadership values.
What you will do:
InHealth Leadership Academy & Leadership Offer:
  • Develop a modern and fit for purpose InHealth leadership development programme, ensuring it aligns to our organisational values to enable our people leaders to be equipped with the skills required to recruit, retain, engage, and develop their people.
  • Develop an emerging talent programme to support the transition into first line management/leadership roles.
  • Review and develop our existing leadership apprenticeship programmes to support business need, ensuring our programmes bring to life the InHealth brand and values.
Organisational Development - Insights Discovery Programme, Coaching & Mentoring:
  • Lead on specific OD projects and change initiatives to support People Strategy delivery, engaging and working with clinical and non-clinical Service Lines to ensure effective and timely implementation, including planning, identifying resource implications, potential benefits and relevant KPIs.
  • Manage the delivery of our Insights discovery programme as part of our OD offering.
  • Develop a mentorship & coaching offer to build informal & formal support mechanisms for InHealth talent.
  • Design and manage delivery of OD programmes to address identified skills gaps in terms of future skills and competency requirements.
  • Act as an OD consultant to improve the performance of teams through diagnostics of team dynamics, and through design and implementation of team building solutions.
  • Lead, promote and facilitate the use of psychometric analysis to support performance development and behavioural improvement.
About you:
  • Experience of leadership and management training gained through training and specialist experience in organisational development and change management.
  • Worked at an organisational level on cultural change / staff engagement.
  • Proven significant practical experience in organisational development at a senior management level.
  • Proven practical experience of the design and delivery of OD initiatives and processes to improve organisation effectiveness i.e. cultural change, service development, staff engagement.
  • Successful implementation of digital learning technologies.
