Learning Project Manager (6 month fixed term contract

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to join us on a 6 month fixed term contract to support the planning and management of multiple learning projects by interfacing with senior management, project team members and the client, to meet customer and company expectations.You'll manage scope, budget and schedule as we deliver high quality digital learning products and experiences. You will work closely with learning designers, software engineers, account managers and consultants, servicing our clients as a trusted delivery partner. The role is complex and multifaceted. It calls for the ability to manage your time efficiently, communicate clearly and concisely and have strong attention to detail whilst always keeping your eye on the bigger picture.In This Role You WillDevelop and manage a set scope of work within one or more projects through setting effective expectations, communication, change management control, budget control and management, issue escalation and resolution, and overall business understanding of the project needs Maintain routine communications (written and verbal) with senior management and the client concerning all aspects of the projectResolves resourcing constraints or conflictsEscalates visibility to issues; offers solutions and drives issues to resolutionMaintain project data in resourcing, financial, and data management systems as requiredEstablish rapport with development team(s) and key stakeholdersAlign internal development schedules and processes to deliver on client’s visionInterface with project team members including internal staff in various offices and teams, third-party organizations, and the client, often dispersed geographicallyProvide direction to assigned project team members and collaborates with peers to prioritize competing commitments among shared resourcesExercise mindfulness and professional decorum Skills/Key CompetenciesPrevious experience managing learning projects, including monitoring project scope and budget, creating project schedules, managing project resources, resolving issues, and reporting statusExceptional written and communication skillsExperience managing the development/publishing of online content Qualifications And Experience Digital learning/Learning and development experienceFamiliarity/experience with instructional design, adult learning, and/or content development (e.g., ADDIE, Agile) for common modalities (e.g., WBT/OLT, ILT, VILT, MOOC, etc.)Familiarity/experience developing training content using Storyline and RISE Familiarity/experience using Azure DevOps Desired AttributesRelationship development and management Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects under aggressive deadlines Ability to respond to constant change and remain flexible Conflict resolution, adaptability/flexibility, and dealing with ambiguity Detail orientated Strong work ethic Positive, enthusiastic, “can do” attitude Initiative and problem-solving ability Professional development training related to leadership/ project management About GP StrategiesGP Strategies Corporation is one of the world's leading talent transformation providers.
