We are a well-respected secondary school in East Grinstead, known for our commitment to academic excellence and the holistic development of our students. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our supportive team. This role is in partnership with Zen Educate, an innovative education staffing agency dedicated to enhancing the quality of education in schools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom and during other school activities.


• Assist teachers in planning and delivering individualized learning plans.


• Support students in developing social skills and managing behavior.


• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.


• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.


• Help prepare learning materials and resources.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with secondary school students, particularly those with SEN, is desirable.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.


• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.


• Flexibility and adaptability in responding to the diverse needs of students.
