Job Description:

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a mainstream primary school in Widnes. This full-time role involves working closely with a child who has additional needs, providing essential support to enhance their educational experience.

Responsibilities:

• Offer one-on-one support to a child with additional needs within a mainstream classroom setting.
• Assist in the implementation of individualised learning plans.
• Support the child in developing social and academic skills.
• Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to ensure the child's needs are met.
• Monitor and report on the child's progress to parents and school staff.

Qualifications:

• Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Previous experience working with children with additional needs is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
