Salary: £84 to £97 per day

Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are looking for a Learning Support Assistant, across client schools located in Hull/ Market Weighton, starting ASAP.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students in their learning journey. You will work closely with teachers and other staff members to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

As a Learning Support Assistant your responsibilities will be:

• Assist teachers in the classroom by supporting students with their learning activities.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help.
• Help to create a safe and engaging learning environment.
• Support students with special educational needs to reach their full potential.
• Encourage positive behaviour and promote good social skills among students.
• Work with teachers to plan and deliver tailored learning activities.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will:

• Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role is desirable.
• A positive attitude, patience, and a passion for working with children.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work across different age groups and support a variety of learning needs.
• An understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
• Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
