This position will start in early October at a wonderful primary school in Newport. Learning Support Assistant - Responsibilities

• Providing individual support
• Encouraging communication
• Supporting integration
• Motivating pupils
• Running specific programs
• Monitoring progress

Learning Support Assistant - Requirements

• Previous personal/school experience working children with ALN needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children's education and personal development
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
• Knowledge of relevant safeguarding and health & safety procedures
• DBS on the update service or willing to get one.

Learning Support Assistant - Desirable Skills

• Full driving license and a car.
• Living in Newport.
• Understanding of the national curriculum.
