We are currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant - North London

  • Salary: Scale 4, Spinal Point 7 (£29,346 full-time, pro-rata for term time)
  • Hours: 5 per week, 40 weeks per year
  • Location: North London
  • Contract: Permanent

This is a respected school for deaf children who provide innovative education for deaf students aged 3-16.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support deaf students with additional needs.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Understanding of deafness and special needs (desirable)
  • Qualification in or understanding of childcare
  • BSL (British Sign Language) qualification (desirable) or willingness to learn
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and a strong communicator
  • Committed to equal opportunities
  • Experience in positive handling and intimate care (desirable)
