Learning Support Assistant - Primary School - Lincoln

Simply Education is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to provide dedicated support to primary-aged children aged 4 to 11 years old at a welcoming primary school in the Lincoln area. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive environment, helping children with their educational and social development. The role is offered on a full-time basis from Monday to Friday, but part-time applicants will be considered for the right candidate.

The Role:

• Provide learning support to children aged 4 to 11 years old in a primary school setting in the Lincoln area.
• Assist children with their educational development, including helping with literacy, numeracy, and other key curriculum areas.
• Support children's social development by encouraging positive interactions and building confidence.
• Deliver 1:1 support and small group interventions to help children meet their learning targets.
• Work closely with class teachers and the SEN coordinator to implement individual learning plans.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where children feel supported and valued.

What We Are Looking For:

• Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or similar role within a primary school setting.
• A passion for supporting children's educational and social development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, adaptability, and the ability to build positive relationships with children and staff.
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting primary education.
