RESPONSIBILITIES
The Acantha Collective, a best-in-class Central London residential real estate manager, is seeking an experienced Leasing Manager to manage our portfolio. Based in London (Mayfair) the Leasing Manager will be responsible for managing all leasing and rental activities for our Acantha Portfolio. Other responsibilities include:
Serve as the primary manager and point-of-contact for all leasing-related matters
Interface directly with multiple stakeholders including potential tenants and members of the property management, investments, and branding team internally
Drive growth of the Acantha brand by launching the management of a third-party lettings, and property management business
Key marketing and branding projects for a growing real estate brand
Prepare annual budgets and monthly revenue and cost variance analyses and other periodic reporting
Manage tenant references, KYC and other critical onboarding processes
Negotiate leasing agreements, enforce key elements of those agreements, and maintain good relationships with tenants by addressing any leasing-related issues or concerns that may arise
Leverage data analytics and interface with various constituents across the Warwick organization to optimize pricing strategy across the real estate platform
Comfortable with basic analytical skills in excel such as year over year rental growth by building, portfolio etc.
Reports directly to Senior Managing Director – Real Estate
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 5 – 7 years’ experience as a leasing professional in London, preferably leasing multifamily rental properties in Central London either at an agency or for an internal landlord manager platform
Experience in marketing and branding preferred
Excel proficiency is required to interface with budgeting and accounting
An entrepreneurial mindset and a “do whatever it takes” attitude is a must
Strong understanding of Central London residential real estate markets in neighborhoods such as Mayfair, Belgravia, Knightsbridge, St Johns Wood, and Notting Hill,
Deep understanding of key aspects of the Central London leasing process including referencing, deposit management, KYC/AML, etc., and ability and desire to build out internal processes and systems in these areas
Ability to drive rental growth through unit dressing and design and also communicate this to the rest of the Warwick team
Strong organizational, execution, and time-management skills
A demonstrated eye for design and aesthetics and an interest in building a successful, differentiated real estate brand
Solid business instincts and an ability to proactively drive cost savings when possible
Familiarity with residential Health and Safety (H&S) requirements
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple, competing priorities
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and ability to effectively interact with various stakeholders including tenants, contractors, regulators, and Acantha and Warwick colleagues
