We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Lecturer in Engineering. This full-time position combines two exciting roles: delivering on the T-Level Mechatronics course and teaching and assessing the next generation of Engineering Apprentices.
Role Overview:
You will be responsible for:
- Delivering high-quality instruction on the T-Level Mechatronics course.
- Teaching and assessing apprentices in areas such as Mechatronics, Electronics, Robotics, Control Systems, and PLCs.
- Sharing your industry expertise to inspire and support students to achieve their full potential.
We are seeking a candidate with a passion for the Engineering industry who is highly motivated and eager to support the development of future engineers.
You should be:
A confident communicator with strong people skills who can relate well to students and build relationships quickly. Enthusiastic about education and committed to helping others learn and grow. Organised, self-reliant, and competent in IT.
You should have:
- A minimum of 3 years’ work experience in the Engineering sector.
- A Level 3 Engineering Qualification or above.
- Competency in Mechatronics, Electronics, Robotics, Control Systems, and PLCs.
- Ideally, experience with teaching, assessing, and IQA. However, if you don’t have a teaching qualification, we will provide full training and qualifications to support your development into a confident lecturer.
