Hours: Full time and hybrid (3 office days, 2 from home)
Our well established and successful client is looking for a legal administrator to join their new business team. The role would suit someone who has experience as a legal
assistant/secretary. About you\n- Previous experience in an administration role
\n- A basic understanding of AML and/or conflict compliance although additional training will be provided as part of the role
\n- A basic understanding of onboarding processes
\n- Good attention to detail
\n- Good organisational and time management skills
\n- Good written and oral communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information in a discreet and professional manner
\n- Good level of IT competence
\n- Good problem solving skills
\n- Willingness to learn and develop as the role develops
\n- Team player
\n
Duties\n- To conduct anti money laundering (AML) checks and conflict searches on new clients and new matters including research of corporate clients entity structures and beneficial ownership arrangements
\n- To assist clients, ensuring confidentiality at all times, with the completion of AML checks
\n- To undertake file opening processes for new clients and new matters
\n- To review the current documentation held for existing clients to ensure compliance with our policies and identifying any additional checks required
\n- To maintain accurate records and documentation related to AML and conflict searches
\n- To provide support to the wider compliance team, as required
\n- To carry out any other administrative and ad-hoc duties
