Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our forward thinking client in Salisbury who urgently require a Legal Cashier on a part-time 12 month FTC.

What you will be doing:

  • Oversee and manage cashiering duties including managing the accounting system
  • Reconciling bank statements
  • Processing supplier payments
  • Posting client and office transactions
  • Setting up CHAPS and BACS payments
  • Managing petty cash transactions
  • Month end processing and managing payroll
  • Preparation of VAT reports

What you will need to succeed:

  • Previous accounts experience within a legal environment is essential
  • Strong understanding of legal finance, Solicitors Accounts Rules, SRA and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent communication and numeracy skills
  • Ability to work in a busy, ever changing environment
