We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Legal Cashier to join our finance team. In this role, you will share responsibility for managing all day-to-day financial procedures, ensuring the smooth operation of both client and office accounts. You will liaise with clients and other departments regarding financial matters, assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes, and support audits and regulatory compliance to ensure adherence to Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR) and firm policies.

Duties include:

• Shared responsibility for all day to day aspects of the financial procedures.
• Process client and office account payments, receipts, and transfers.
• Ensure compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR) and firm policies.
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist in preparing financial reports.
• Liaise with clients and other departments on financial matters.
• Assist with month-end and year-end accounting procedures.
• Provide support with audits and regulatory compliance.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience as a Legal Cashier (minimum 1-2 years preferred)
• Knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
