Legal Counsel - Asset Management

Your new company Our client is an international Asset Manager that has cemented its position as a leader in its activities globally, and employs over 700 people across Europe and Asia. The company's flagship office in Central London, where this role will be based. The company has a hybrid working model, with most people spending 4 days a week in the office and 1 day from home. Your new role This hire is a newly created (due to business growth) permanent position. The Legal Counsel will report into the General Counsel and assist with a varied work load including: Assisting in drafting, reviewing and negotiating various commercial contracts Keeping up to date with regulatory changes and advising on the implications for business Liaising with senior stakeholders Getting involved in various projects including corporate governance, IP, employment and data protection What you'll need to succeed Qualified Lawyer 2 -6 PQE (as a guideline only) Experience within Asset Management Experience dealing with distrubution agreements In-house experience Good understanding of Financial Services regulatory legislation Experience dealing with alternative investments What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
