LEGAL & BUSINESS AFFAIRS TV SALES (EMEA) GLOBAL ENTERTAINMENT BUSINESS LONDON/HYBRID Our client is a leading global entertainment company that stands at the forefront of film and television production, distribution and sales. We are looking for a media lawyer to join the team as Legal Counsel. The ideal candidate will have experience in television and digital content, either from an in-house or private practice background OR will be a commercial lawyer with an understanding of contract, commercial and copyright matters and a passion for TV. Key responsibilities include: Drafting, negotiating and reviewing agreements for international TV & digital content distribution. Providing commercially focused legal advice to assist the sales team. Problem solving in relation to commercial/legal/regulatory issues arising from TV & digital content licensing deals, specifically in the UK and EMEA territories. Liaising with and advising relevant departments based in the UK and LA on legal and business-related matters. Assisting with implementing and administering business processes, policies, and procedures relevant to TV & digital content licensing, and for the business generally.
