Our client, a leader in innovative enterprise solutions, is looking for a highly skilled Legal Counsel / Senior Legal Counsel DOE, (Commercial & Technology) to join their dynamic legal commercial team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a leading technology company going through double digit growth, supporting their sales teams and driving strategic growth across the EMEA region. Responsibilities include managing sales contracts, collaboration agreements, e-commerce documents, software contracts, IP licenses, and service and support agreements. Key Responsibilities Negotiate and draft complex technology contracts, with minimal supervision. Provide strategic legal advice to sales teams and other stakeholders. Understand and articulate legal issues related to products and services. Travel as needed to support key meetings and negotiations. Provide legal and strategic advice on various commercial, corporate, and policy matters, including data protection, IT, IP (especially open-source software), and license agreements. Draft, mark-up, negotiate, and advise on a broad spectrum of commercial agreements involving customers, suppliers, and strategic partners, including services and supply agreements, SAAS, PAAS, cloud, and more. Develop and deliver training to business and supporting functions covering contract processes, the meaning of various contractual provisions, negotiation skills, legal compliance, and group policies. Support and lead legal team strategy initiatives. Brief and manage external legal counsel on a variety of matters. About the Candidate A Top-Tier Practice lawyer, with approximately 4-7 years of PQE in technology law, preferably with in-house experience, ideally qualified in England and Wales, though other jurisdictions will be considered. Fluent in English; additional fluency in French is highly desirable but not essential. Strong IT/Technology background, with experience in technology contracts, open-source, and third-party agreements. Experience redrafting and adapting contracts to fit SaaS and bespoke software models. Excellent drafting, research, and negotiation skills, coupled with comprehensive IP knowledge. Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines with well-developed prioritisation skills. Customer-focused, detail-oriented team player with the ability to work autonomously and take initiatives. Good sense of humour with the ability to collaborate across teams and jurisdictions. Business-focused and solutions-oriented with strong communication skills, able to explain complex matters clearly. Strong relationship-building skills, particularly with sales teams. Proactive and able to run tasks independently. Strategic thinker who can align legal advice with business objectives. Location Hybrid, 1-2 days a week in the West London office.
