Our Role
As Legal Counsel, you will deliver an effective legal service to the group companies; advising colleagues across all business divisions, including senior management and the Board members. In this role, youll draft and negotiate client and supplier agreements. Ensure that commercial contracts are progressed appropriately, in a timely manner, to ensure the company achieves its commercial goals. Youll manage and progress litigation and regulatory matters, both directly and through the management of external advisors.
This role will also see you manage and supervise a Solicitor.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for someone to:
Negotiate, review, draft and advise on commercial contracts and terms and conditions. Negotiations will take place with a wide range of parties including clients, subcontractors and suppliers
Communicate and work with all parts of the company, engaging directly with other stakeholders including external stakeholders and insurers
