About the Role

As a Legal Recruitment Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting a team of experienced Legal Recruitment Consultants with an emphasis on candidate attraction and market research, primarily focused on the London market.

This is a full time role, working a minimum of three days in our Farringdon office. Working hours are 8:30am - 6:00pm and on occasion, you may be expected to work later.

The role is fast paced and varied. You must be adaptable, as you will be supporting multiple consultants with different specialisms. Duties include:

  • Sourcing high calibre legal candidates for live vacancies utilising LinkedIn, job sites and specialist data tools
  • Writing and posting job advertisements, conducting initial screening calls and shortlisting
  • Market research and analysis including circulating vacancies, insights and industry news to the relevant consultants
  • Generating lists of prospect clients in preparation for consultants' business development activity
  • Writing blogs, articles and posts for the website and company LinkedIn page

About You

To excel in this role you must be a pro-active, organised individual who enjoys working with people. You must be able to work well in high pressured environments, and have either a background or genuine interest in the legal industry.

Essential skills and experience include:

  • Previous experience working in a law or legal recruitment environment is essential
  • Experience using LinkedIn and other social platforms
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Commercial acumen
  • Strong aptitude for learning
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
