Job Description
LEGAL ASSISTANT- PRACTICE MANAGEMENT

With a strong, ever-growing legal practice dedicated to providing high-quality legal services, we are seeking a motivated and talented individual with excellent organisational and communication skills to assist our Managing Partner in leading and managing our team of experts.

Handling initial enquiries from prospective clients and managing such enquiries utilising out case management system, Clio Case Management and liaising with relevant fee earners.
Onboarding new clients following the firm’s policies.
Communication Management:
Handling incoming and outgoing communications via phone, client/personal attendance, and post.
Performing audio and copy typing with great attention to detail using MS Office packages, particularly Excel, and our case management system, Clio Case Management.
File and Client Management:
Opening and closing files in accordance with the firm’s compliance policy.
Filing, photocopying, transcribing, and conducting legal research.
Firm Management:
Collaborating with the firm’s consultant on risk, compliance, AML guidance, and SRA register administration.
Assisting with all aspects of the firm’s risk assessment and compliance, including updating policies and conducting file and operation reviews.
Working with the Managing Partner and Chief Financial Officer to review and implement the Annual Business Plan and other business development plans.
Managing the firm’s social networking, event planning and business development endeavours.
Adhering to client care standards set out in the firm's terms of business and practice policies.
Writing letters and producing documents in plain English with a high quality of presentation.
Complying with the Solicitors Accounts Rules and Professional Conduct of Solicitors Rules.
Completion of a Degree in Law and/or Business Management.
At least 3 years of legal experience.
Fully computer literate.
Health Insurance, including subsidised gym membership.
