As a Legal Secretary, you will provide essential support to the solicitors, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the office. Your main responsibilities will include:




  • Audio Typing: Accurately transcribing legal documents and correspondence from audio dictation.

  • Document Management: Preparing, formatting, and proofreading various legal documents.

  • Administrative Support: Managing diaries, scheduling appointments, and organising meetings.

  • Client Interaction: Handling phone calls and correspondence, providing excellent client service.

  • File Management: Maintaining and updating client files, ensuring all records are kept up-to-date and confidential.



Requirements for a Legal Secretary:




  • Experience:�Minimum of 2 year as a Legal Secretary, preferably within a solicitors' firm.

  • Skills:�Proficiency in audio typing is essential.

  • Attributes:�Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

  • Flexibility:�While standard office hours apply, slight flexibility may be required to meet business needs.
