Our client is seeking a Legal Secretary to assist them with the day to day running of cases within their Family department. The successful candidate will be capable of providing strong administrative support within a legal practice.

Key Responsibilities:
- Answering the phone
- Greeting clients
- Scanning and filing documents
- Preparing file opening, including client care documents
- Closing and archiving files
- Processing payment request forms
- Drafting of simple letters and dictation of audio files
- Data input
- Carrying out ad hoc tasks for fee earners, including preparing sales packs, downloading official copies, tracking changes to documents, drafting HMRC forms and preparing bills
Experience and Skills Requirements:
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience working within an office environment
- Experience of family law would be advantageous
- Commitment to client care and providing high levels of service
- Strong attention to detail, including punctuation, spelling and formatting in accordance with company standards
- Good IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Office programmes
- Awareness of the legal market
