Job Title: Legionella Plumber
Location: Watford, Greater London
Salary/Benefits: �25k - �37k + Training & Benefits
Our Client is seeking a hardworking Legionella Plumber, to cover a range of Commercial, Local Authority and Public Sector sites in the South East of England. You will be joining a busy and well-respected Water Hygiene / Legionella outfit, with a national presence. They can offer fantastic training, including further qualifications and tickets. They are offering competitive salaries and packages for excellent and well-rounded engineers. Due to the nature of the contracts, they can be open to applicants from other areas of the country.
Ideally you will be located in: Watford, Luton, Enfield, Harlow, Wembley, Slough, Bracknell, Southall, Ilford, Brentwood, Basildon, Bishop's Stortford, Dartford, Bromley, Orpington, Croydon, Chatham, Epsom, Woking, Guildford, Aldershot, Camberley, Kingston Upon Thames.
Experience / Qualifications:
- You will have experience working as a Plumber for a Water Hygiene / Legionella company
- Qualified with the Level 2 Plumbing qualification as a minimum
- It would be beneficial to hold the G3 Vented & Unvented Ticket
- Excellent working knowledge of ACOP L8 guidelines
- Ideally you will have experience working on both domestic and process systems, including Cooling Towers and Water Softeners, but this is not essential
- Strong written ability
- IT proficient
The Role:
- You will be conducting a varied range of remedial / plumbing duties in accordance with ACOP L8 and HSE guidelines
- Acid Descales
- TMV Servicing, Replacements and Installations
- Valve replacements and installations
- Pipework adjustments and re-routes
- Deadleg Removals
- Installations of Cold Water Storage Tanks, as well as refurbishments
- Internal and endoscopic calorifier inspections
- Mains injections
- Ad-hoc Water Hygiene duties such as: Water Sampling, Temperature Monitoring, Cleans & Disinfections
- Writing detailed service reports and updating site logbooks
- Travelling as per company requirements
