Job Description

An excellent opportunity to join this growing independent lettings agency who after building the lettings business to it's current level are looking for a lettings manager to oversee the day to day.
Reporting to the business owner you will oversee all things lettings and have direct responsibility for the running of this department. This is a hands on role and you would be conducting viewings, generating new business as well as supporting the Property Manager in oversight of the managed portfolios compliance. My clients have an superb local reputation and are keen to find a Lettings Manager to compliment the team in order to build on what has already been achieved.
This is an ideal first time management opportunity for someone with all round lettings experience ready to take on more responsibility.
Lettings Manager – Benefits

  • £25k - £30k basic dependent on level of experience

  • £35k OTE

Lettings Manager – Duties

    \n
  • Drive revenue and look for new and innovative ways to increase overall lettings business
  • \n
  • Attending and instructing lettings valuations if experienced to do so
  • \n
  • Overseeing portfolio of properties ensuring compliance and efficient management
  • \n
  • Oversight of onboarding new stock
  • \n
  • Supporting and guiding the team to achieve personal and branch key goals
  • \n
  • Fostering a positive culture, motivating and leading your team from the front
  • \n
  • Reviewing, analysing and improving process and procedure where necessary to optimise branch performance
  • \n
  • Cultivating and nurturing long lasting relationships with landlords and key stake holders
  • \n
  • Management of escalation with tenants and landlords
  • \n
  • Staying informed and up to date on legislation and upcoming changes, ensuring your team are trained and adapting as required
  • \n


Lettings Manager – Experience Needed

    \n
  • Previous experience working as a Senior Lettings Negotiator, Lettings Valuer or Property Manager looking for the next step in their career would be ideal
  • \n
  • ARLA qualification desirable but not essential
  • \n
  • You will be a strong communicator with excellent inter-personal skills.
  • \n
  • Negotiation skills are key and you will be well-spoken and well-presented.
  • \n
  • Some Property Management experience essential.
  • \n
  • Excellent knowledge of the lettings process and legislation.
  • \n
  • Able to motivate and lead by example
  • \n
