Level 3 Educator Apprenticeship with Penkett Day Nursery
Salary: £6.40 per hour, 36 hours per weeks
Hours: Monday to Friday shifts between Monday to Friday shifts 7.30am-4.30pm / 8am-5pm / 9am-6pm
Location: 32 Penkett Road, Wallasey, CH45 7QN
You will be working towards Early Years Educator Level 3 which will take approximately 16 months.
Do you have an interest in working with young children? Do you have a flair for creativity and a passion for teaching? If so, you may be interested in studying as an Early Years Practitioner.
So, what will your day to day look like?
Planning and delivering activities.
Carrying out care needs to children which may include teeth, skin, hair, feeding and toileting under supervision
Supporting children with their general development including interacting with other children
Communicating with parents and carers of their childs daily/ weekly progress
Supervising children to ensure you are managing/ avoiding any risks
What skills/qualifications or personalities would be suited to this role?
You must have a minimum of English/Maths GCSE 4/C to apply for this role and you must have lived in the UK for a minimum of 3 years
You must have Early Years Practitioner Level 2 or equivalent
Suitable for school leavers who may have carried out babysitting duties or work experience in a nursery setting

What do you need to know about Penkett Day Nursery
This is a family run business with another two already established settings. Penkett Day Nursery is their newest venture. Theyre currently in the process of refurbing this lovely building to open up in September 2024, so you will be joining them to start this journey! Its an o pen planned nursery, with a close team working together as one to deliver the highest level of care to local children and families.
