Are you a level 3 qualified TA who is looking for a role at a forward thinking school? Are you available 8:30-4:00pm each day during term time?

Tradewind are currently working with a lovely school in Leighton Buzzard who are looking to recruit a SEN TA to join them on a full-time basis. This lower school is based over two sites and benefits from a large, open plan school which creates an excellent environment to learn and allows the teacher to be creative in how they deliver the curriculum. They are strong believers in thinking outside the box and allow teachers the creative freedom to bring the curriculum to life. As a SEN TA, you will support the classroom teacher whilst working on a 1-1 basis with children with a range of SEND including ASD, ADHD and MLD.

This school is a strong believer in positive behaviour management techniques and aim to get to the root cause of the behaviour rather than resort to discipline at every opportunity. They are looking for staff who share this ethos and can make a real difference to their learners with additional needs.

Your role will be based in the classroom but you will work with your designated children outside the classroom when required to deliver interventions. Our partner school are looking for experienced Teaching Assistants with a good understanding on how to deliver effective support for children with additional needs.

Requirements for the Level 3 Teaching Assistant role:

• Hold a degree and/or CACHE Level 3 Qualification
• Able to commute to Leighton Buzzard daily
• Previous experience working with young learners.
• Must be able to commit to 5 days per week between 8.30am and 4pm
• Willing to take on training and development provided by the agency and school.
