LGV / HGV Technicians - York

Salary: £17.50 per hour unlimited overtime available

Contract: Permanent

Shifts: Mon – Fri (Days) 45 hours per week with overtime available

HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter role:

• Service, maintenance and repairs to a municipal vehicles and equipment
• Diagnosing vehicle faults and rectifying defects
• Carrying out vehicle inspections
• Preventative maintenance
• Adhering to health and safety
• Preparing vehicles for MOT
• As an HGV technician you will also need to keep up to date with product knowledge

HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter requirements:

• Must have the right to work in the UK
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant discipline is preferable for an HGV Technician or time served within the industry
