Role Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Lifecycle Project Manager to oversee the planning and delivery of lifecycle and capital replacement works across our clients healthcare and hospital contracts. This role is pivotal in ensuring the long-term sustainability and compliance of our assets, while maintaining the operational integrity of live hospital environments. Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and delivering small-scale construction and maintenance projects within a facility, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards, by managing all aspects of the project lifecycle from initial client brief to project closeout, including site design, contractor management, financial control, and adherence to health and safety regulations; typically focusing on smaller repair, refurbishment, and improvement works across various building systems like mechanical, electrical, and fabric elements.

 

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of lifecycle projects in line with contractual obligations, ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations.
  • Develop and maintain the lifecycle replacement schedule, forecasting future investment needs in alignment with condition surveys and asset data.
  • Collaborate with FM, engineering, and hospital estates teams to scope, plan, and deliver works efficiently.
  • Manage external contractors and suppliers, ensuring adherence to health and safety, infection control, and site protocols.
  • Control project budgets, deliver cost reporting, and ensure works are delivered on time and within financial targets.
  • Ensure all works comply with relevant legislation.
  • Support contract performance reviews and contribute to client reporting and stakeholder engagement.
  • Identify risk, value engineering opportunities, and continuous improvement initiatives across the lifecycle programme.
  • Participate in audits, technical assessments, and compliance reviews as needed.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential:


  • Proven experience delivering lifecycle or capital works within live healthcare or hospital environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Financial acumen and experience managing project budgets.
  • Sound knowledge of CDM Regulations and construction health and safety.
