Lift Service & Callout Engineer

My client is one of the largest independent lift companies in the UK, with a strong presence across multiple regions. They specialise in lift installation, maintenance, modernisation, and repair for a wide range of clients, including commercial, residential, healthcare, and public sector buildings.

Due to company expansion and new contract wins, they're actively seeking an NVQ Level 3 Qualified Engineer to join their Glasgow Branch, covering a local route within the City of Glasgow.�

The role will involve the following duties;�

  Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of lifts across a dedicated Glasgow route.

  Perform minor repairs and adjustments to ensure lifts remain in top working condition.

  
  


• 
  

  Respond to callouts and breakdowns, diagnosing faults and carrying out necessary repairs.

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct safety checks and inspections in line with industry regulations and company standards.

  
  


• 
  

  Provide excellent customer service, keeping clients informed of work carried out and any recommendations.

  
  


• 
  

  Complete accurate service reports and documentation using company systems.

  
  


• 
  

  Work in accordance with health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with other engineers and management to ensure efficient service delivery.

  
  

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to have the following;�

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in lift servicing and confidently carrying out small repairs.


• An NVQ/SVQ 3 in Lift Servicing or Installation.�


• A full UK Driving License.�

The position offers a fantastic remuneration package, including;

• A basic starting salary of up to �45,000pa with a view to review this after probation up to �48,000pa.�


• Excellent standby and callout fees for participating in the night call rota.�


• 25 days' annual leave, in addition to Bank Holidays.�
