This permanent, full-time role is perfect for those with significant experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, coupled with an interest in lifting equipment.
Our client is a highly established manufacturer of survival technology to the maritime industry. A large part of their work includes maintaining lifting equipment and cranes. As such, we are looking for an Electrical Technician with Fault Finding experience to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform installation, proof load testing, visual examinations, service, and inspections of cranes, lifting and height safety equipment
Respond to customer breakdowns, diagnose faults, and liaise with customers for cost-effective repairs
Complete and return full, detailed service & repair reports
Achieve competency as defined in the LEEA registration scheme
Provide own tooling (larger workshop tools provided)
Assist specialists in setting up and testing new products or processes

Job Requirements:

Experience in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Experience in fault finding
Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable:

Competence in inspecting lifting equipment iaw LOLER.
Hold relevant certifications or qualifications (e.g LEEA)
NVQ3 in Electrical and/or Mechanical Maintenance
