Your new company A private sector company focused on the environment and sustainability is seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Co-Ordinator to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and effective management of the company's logistics operations. Your new role The Logistics Co-Ordinator will report to the Operations Manager and you will be responsible for managing skip drivers, providing administrative support, assisting the team in the control and implementation of plant schedules and defect reporting. You will oversee the control of hired vehicles, manage the companies' bespoke software systems, including updates and improvement actions and managing the company's fleet, ensuring safe and efficient operations. You will be responsible for internal operational and financial reporting deadlines, ensuring compliance with quality systems and legislative requirements. What you'll need to succeed Proven experience in fleet logistics, ideally within the waste industry, with a minimum of 2 years direct experience or relevant logistics qualification. Experience in logistics reporting, including analysis and KPI reviews. Familiarity with ISO and 45001 quality systems is desirable. Strong management skills, including time management, delegation and supervision. A full clean driving licence is required. What you'll get in return Permanent position.
