Logistics Coordinator

Adept Resourcing Commercial Division is recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator to join our client's dynamic team in Bredbury.
Our client, a leader in the supply chain and logistics sector, specialises in providing high-quality products and services to global markets. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth export and import operations, ensuring customers receive their orders on time and in full.
Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate transport for export customers, ensuring on-time delivery of customer orders.
• Manage the import entry process and arrange uplift from the supply chain.
• Expedite and file all relevant documentation relating to shipments when required.
• Prepare accurate documentation in line with customer and HMRC requirements.
• Communicate shipping details to customers and work with freight forwarders to arrange timely, cost-effective shipments.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure orders are on schedule.
• Supply customers with all required documentation before and after dispatch.

• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
• Strong understanding of customer requirements and a proactive approach to service.
• Team player with the initiative to work independently.
• Positive attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Keen to develop skills and improve processes.

• Experience in import/export procedures and entries.
• Strong administrative skills.
• Knowledge of import/export documentation and shipment methods (road, airfreight, sea freight, courier).
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
