We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics & Inventory Control Leadto join Terumo BCT- Larne Sites. Come join us today! The successful candidate will manage logistics and inventory control activities, focusing on delivering best in class cost and service to enhance customer experience. Essential Duties Manage the logistics team to ensure safe and efficient receipt and shipment of materials to/from external suppliers & customers. Execute on-time receiving and shipping activity to ensure best in class customer service experience Drive an operational excellence approach across both internal & external teams to deliver a high level of cost and service improvements, cross functionally and externally. Develop flexible cross-departmental resource training matrix to ensure functional flexibility & business stability. Develop and monitor key performance indicators throughout shipping, receiving & Inventory control. Drive corrective action plan to improve where necessary. Manage, control, and document the movement of all materials with appropriate process controls through SAP and 3PL WMS. Control and coordinate Inventory stock counts with production, material handling & warehouse 3PL teams Manage, control, and document movement of quarantine and rejected materials into the warehouse and ensure SAP execution. Create Obsolete and Excess reports monthly, creating recommendations to the Inventory and Masterdata Lead for provisioning of materials. Comply with and continue to enhance all relevant Health and Safety & company regulations / policies associated with warehousing and logistics activity. Any other duties as may be reasonably required by your manager. Education Good standard of education (i.e. minimum GCSEs or equivalent to include Maths & English) 3rd Level qualification in relevant discipline or suitable experience in a relevant discipline. Experience Minimum of 3 years logistics / warehousing experience gained within a manufacturing environment Knowledge of warehousing and inventory management techniques Knowledge of operating within a 3PL operation Skills SAP experience People Management skills, directly & cross functionally Attributes Able to work on own initiative Able to work accurately and to deadlines Good knowledge of H & S legislation & good manufacturing practice If you're ready to make a significant impact in a dynamic and collaborative environment, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
