Logistics Operator

Contract Duration: Minimum 6 months+

Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated Goods In Operative to join our team on a minimum 6-month contract. This position has arisen due to an increase in production requirements and involves working in a busy factory environment.

Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Collecting scrap bins from around the site
• Performing basic stores duties
• Ensuring high standards of housekeeping
• Maintaining accuracy in number transfer
• Observing safety protocols and maintaining a safety-conscious approach
• Utilising good hand/eye coordination for tasks
• Adopting a methodical but efficient approach to tasks, without cutting corners
• Ensuring quality and attention to detail in all tasks
• Demonstrating flexibility and versatility in duties

Candidate Requirements:

• Clear handwriting

• PC literate
• Willingness to work on a rotating shift pattern
• Licenses to drive both a Counter Balance and Reach forklift truck

Shift Pattern:

• 7am - 3pm (Monday to Friday)
• 10am - 6pm (Monday to Friday)

Compensation:

• �11.44 per hour
• Shift premium of �2.12 per hour
