Logistics Supply Chain Specialist

JOB TITLE: Supply Chain & Logistics SpecialistINDUSTRY: Robotics AutomationLOCATION: CoventrySALARY: £30 - 40k (depending on experience, plus other additional benefits)This is a brilliant opportunity working for one of the market leaders in the Robotics Automation industry! CORE TASKSEnsure accurate order processing of all new orders, including, processing sales orders and order related documents within the ERP systemEnsure fulfilment and logistical distribution of all of company products, including planning, review, communication and financial control from point of customer order to delivery to the external/internal customersArrange deliveries for local project requirementsContact for communication with external customers and other internal departments, ensuring regular updates on order statusesManage communication from department mailboxes and channels for external/internal customersProvide Customs support with import and exports of product/related equipmentForecasting and demand planning of company products and options to meet customer demandEnsure high quality of the delivered goods carried out, including measuring quality with dedicated KPI’sAlign with company strategies to support business growth targets and implement change within the organizationSupport process development and continuous improvement activities within the team and wider business applying methodologiesWork closely with other departments to align Supply Chain operations with the overall business goalsCompliance with Supply Chain and Customs related regulations/policiesAny other related duties, as required by the Head of Supply Chain and Logistics, and such other duties as are within the scope of the job purpose, the title of the post and its grading.YOUR PROFILEUniversity degree in Supply chain, Operations or Business or equivalent4+ years of work experience in the Supply Chain or Logistics or similar positionGood knowledge of CustomsGood knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies is advantageousGood knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office package (knowledge in JDE or SAP is advantageous)Have the ability to manage your own workload in a high volume environment.Experience in working with clients of various sizesCustomer-centric approach to workExcellent communication and negotiation skillsProblem solving / analytical skillsDetermined to get the job done and flexibility to adapt to changing requirementsGood time management, planning and accuracyYOU MAY BE REQUIRED TOSupport wider operational activities from time to timeSupport or take a leading role in local or group based projects and implementationsSupport other subsidiary lead projectsOccasionally travel to other sites
