Ready to lead the charge in delivering world-class data centre infrastructure?
We're looking for a driven and experienced M&E Construction Manager to join our growing team. In this critical role, you'll be at the forefront of delivering high-performance data centre projects and the supporting infrastructure that powers digital transformation.
This is your chance to shape the future of construction delivery-managing complex projects from design through to commissioning, ensuring quality, safety, and performance at every stage.
What You'll Do
As Construction Manager, you'll play a vital role in delivering full lifecycle construction oversight. Responsibilities include:
Project Delivery Leadership

  • Lead the end-to-end design and construction of data centres and associated infrastructure
  • Oversee procurement, contract admin, risk management, and cost control
  • Manage and coordinate the delivery team and supply chain to meet project milestones

Programme & Budget Control

  • Maintain tight control over budgets, timelines, and reporting to senior stakeholders
  • Provide consolidated project updates and progress reports
  • Monitor quality and compliance throughout the build process

Construction Excellence

  • Ensure project works meet design and quality standards
  • Uphold rigorous health & safety protocols across all site activities
  • Manage commissioning, IST, and certification to ensure successful handover

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships with clients, architects, designers, and contractors
  • Drive collaboration and communication across all internal and external teams

Project Strategy & Oversight

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans
  • Manage deliverables, track issues, scope changes, and resolve cross-functional challenges
  • Lead internal training and ensure project goals align with business needs

What You'll Bring
Education & Experience

  • Degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline)
  • 10+ years' experience in construction management, ideally in data centre or mission-critical environments

Technical & Organisational Skills

  • Excellent knowledge of quality and safety standards
  • Proven success managing large, complex, fast-track projects
  • Strong planning and reporting skills with a deep understanding of project lifecycle management

Leadership & Communication

  • A team-first attitude and ability to lead high-performing, cross-functional teams
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Confident communicator with a proactive mindset

Software & Tools

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using project management tools (Asta Powerproject preferred)

Why apply?
This is more than a construction role-it's an opportunity to build the infrastructure of tomorrow. You'll be part of a highly respected team delivering cutting-edge facilities, with the autonomy to make a real impact.
