Your new company Hays are working with a leading company in the Industrial Automation sector in their recruitment for a Senior M&E Project Manager (OFCI). Your new role This can be a full-time remote role or hybrid based on location with minimal travel. You will play a key role in collaboration with the integrators, MEP, GC and Hyperscale Data Centre clients to ensure that panels are built 100% to customer specifications by: Managing safety and quality in accordance with relevant policies/procedures/protocols. Carrying out Panel Build Forecasting & Planning Having a robust Cost Management System Supply Chain Management Ensuring flow of information between all stakeholders is effective and timely. Lead or attend key meetings and be prepared to provide progress reports, collaborate to resolve issues, and communicate impacts to stakeholders. Risk management on areas that could affect delivery schedule. Optimising Designs - working with technical teams. Ensuring successful FAT & SAT completion Ensuring on-time delivery of panels to the customer site. This customer-facing role requires the ability to lead multiple projects within various stages of the project life cycle while managing scope, schedule, and budget. What you'll need to succeed 5 years Project Management experience in Construction, Mechanical, Electrical or closely related field, particularly large scale, complex automation projects. Data Centre Project experience would be desirable. Influencing skills as well as strong communication skills allowing you to effectively interact with clients, contractors, management, and colleagues. An ability to manage expectations, influence change, and report/update accurately on progress drawing on your strong planning and organisation skills. Develop and maintain good relationships with industry networks and clients. An excellent attitude to helping people. Keen to work within high performance teams.
